KTH Launches KF gear pump range

KT Hydraulics has launched a range of KF gear pumps suitable for process engineering applications including the dosing and metering of PUR components, plasticisers, resins, adhesives, lacquers and paints.

The KF is an external gear ratio pump with a highly accurate and variable delivery volume of between 0.5cc and 4.0cc per revolution. The pump will operate at pressures of up to 150 bar and between -20ºC and +200ºC.

With a speed range of up to 3,000rpm, the KF is available with a choice of sealing materials and types and is supplied with bare shaft, as a pump and motor set or with special shaft and gear coatings for enhanced wear and protection.

The pump is also suitable for two part mixing control using KT Hydraulics’ positive displacement flowmeter/volume counter linked to its ASR-16 microcontroller. This arrangement allows the monitoring and control up to eight ratios simultaneously at flow rates of between 0.02 and 315 litres per minute.
