ATEX certified pumps and flowmeters from KTH
Hazardous environments come as standard with many of the jobs in which KT Hydraulics become involved and the company’s latest range of centrifugal pumps from German manufacturer Kracht fits the bill perfectly.
Hazardous environments such as those found in the petrochemical, gas and processing industries where vapour, fumes and fine powder mists are created require protecting from any risk of ignition. Atex certified equipment conforms to current legislation, removing this risk and maintaining a safer working environment.
“As regulations have tightened we are noticing a considerable increase in enquiries for our ATEX certified products,” comments KTH director Richard Ellis. “There are very few manufacturers out there with the right products for hazardous environments and customers often don’t know where to turn when original equipment breaks down. You can’t simply repair a pump and put it back into these environments, you need ATEX certified replacement parts to ensure continued operational safety.”
